"The computer has added a wider variety of things-to-do in my life. Of course I enjoy the email part that allows me to keep in touch with friends and family. I had a friend find me that I hadn't seen in 30 years. What a great time we had talking. Other than that I do some buying for gifts and other things, I research topics that my family doesn;t have the time for, I visit fabric sites often for ideas and purchases, it helps me prepare our church weekly bulletin, using the internet to gain Biblical info. I get all my news from the internet, both local and national, watch my stocks and am looking into banking online. I do all my financial recording and tax prep and keep all this updated automatically from the net. all this and I have only had my computer for 6 months. I can;t wait to get into it more.
Because this retired person has much to do, many friends to keep company with and hobbies that I can now devote more time to, Retirement is a wonderful time, very fulfilling and I hope it lasts for a long time to come."

"I bought my first computer 5 years ago without any idea how to use it. Now I am surfing the net, read daily newspapers from all over the world, have pen pals from different areas of the world, made new friends and found old ones. I use the computer to do my bookwork on my job, write newsletters for the community, keep track of my personal finances, and play games now and then. I am 59, retired, but work part time in community affairs, Without this computer mu life would be very dull indeed.
