About Ageless Connections  Ageless Connections is a full service, turnkey computer company specializing in individual analysis of particular needs for home computer users.   It was initially conceived through a burden for older citizens who didn't grow up in the "Information Age" and have some catching up to do.   We believe that new technologies can be particularly effective in the lives of older citizens who may be housebound, wheel-chair bound or have simply taken an early retirement. We are aware of the fact that the lastest growing segment of our population, and the fastest-growing on-line audience is the over-fifty crowd, and we believe that business, government, and private sectors must address it, as they have begun to do.  They may have time on their hands that could be used to begin a new business, keep up with old friends, or look up information on their favorite past time or hobby. They are still productive, vibrant, and more than able to continue to make contributions to society.  Ageless Connections also provides installation and configuration of PC-based video surveillance systems.   The owners and proprietors of Ageless Connections are Karen and Patrick (Mike) Smith  Karen Smith is an accomplished IT professional and experienced trouble-shooter in all topics relating to the field of information technology. She holds a degree in Information Systems from Georgia Southern University and has over 18 years of computing and business-related know-how, including experience in both academia and in the manufactoring sector. Customer-service and project-oriented, she is focused on operations support and analyst work. Patrick (Mike) Smith is a local businessman, business-owner, entrepreneur, and 27-year veteran in textile manufacturing management and operations. He is a graduate of Georgia Technological Institute and served in the 117th Air Tactical Control group in the Georgia Air National Guard. In addition to work-related responsibilities, Mike has served in several other capacities including city council, local Red Cross Chairman, United Way, and recreation board - coaching Little League baseball and Midget football for over 20 years. This is my grandmother and the inspiration for Ageless Connections, Mrs. Elizabeth (Betty) Tolley hard at work on the computer.
